Effective Business Writing
Clear
communication through the written word is essential in today’s
business world. Although we now enjoy a high-tech world of
computers and electronic data processing, the end result of
writing efforts is most dependent on the writer – not
the machine or device which produces the final product. Business
writers must be clear, professional, accurate and appropriate
in all writing situations. Errors in a document, whether grammatical
or in approach/style, lead a reader to believe the writer
is incompetent, uneducated, unprofessional and/or inattentive.
