Negotiating
is an every day process with stakes, not always large, but almost always critical
to success. Employees are being asked to obtain agreements which are vital for
continued growth. To be successful at such endeavors, they need to be able to
negotiate win-win deals, on both a formal and informal basis with a variety of
people: peers, subordinates, and bosses; customers, suppliers, and vendors. It
is imperative to demonstrate excellent face-to-face negotiating skills, plus the
ability to plan negotiation strategy and tactics appropriate to each situation.

planning through implementation, and to select appropriate tactics in order to
