Management and
Supervisory Training
All
Jackson Wilders Group training programs have been developed based on the Adult
Learning Theory which delineates four critical aspects. The first, Concrete Experience
(CE) requires that each participant become involved by doing, performing, observing,
seeing or saying. In the second phase, Reflection & Observation (RO), the
individual becomes an observer of his/her own thinking and acting which is critical
for the next phase, Formation of Abstract Concepts (AC). This involves creating
ideas and possibilities for further action, looking for links between potential
actions and other patterns of behavior in the system. The last phase, Active Experimentation
(AE) requires setting a method for action - making the decision to act, move forward,
evaluate and adjust, as necessary.
Each program
has been developed with a solid core of information and skills critical to the
subject matter. We will customize the program based on your organization's goals,
industry, culture, processes and relationships. Our overall goal for training
is to ensure that each participant is equipped with the appropriate information
and skills to immediately transfer that knowledge and ability to his/her particular
situation.
We recommend
a maximum of sixteen (16) participants to ensure enough class time for individual
skill practice and feedback with the exception of the program "High Impact
Speaking" for which we recommend a maximum of ten (10) participants. We utilize
video/audio taped exercises and case studies, discussions, lecturettes, breakout
sessions, videos, etc. Each participant receives a comprehensive workbook/reference
manual for use both during the program and after attendance.
We underscore
the concept that "Learning is a process, not an event" and ensure that
participants develop a personal action plan to solidify, reinforce and extend
learnings.
